Get ready for Purim
Sunday, March 24th

Festivities start at 11am
Schedule of Events

11:00am - Reading of the Megillah

11:30am - Purim play performed by our Talmud Torah
students

12pm - Hamatashen shaping and baking, mask making
and games.

Food, drinks and music!
Remember to wear your most lively fun costume!

So that everyone is part of the fun, please bring a gift bag for our Mishloach manot exchange.

For Matanot L'evyonim (gifts to the needy) we will have a food drive. Starting on Friday, there will be a Maui Food Bank canister outside of the synagogue to deposit your canned food donations.

A suggested donation on a sliding scale of $15-$20
for adults and $5-$10 for keiki. No one will be turned away for lack of funds.

So that all family members can enjoy this special day together, child care will not be available

If you are able to donate your time, it would be a great mitzvah! We are looking for volunteers to help with arts and crafts, decorating, set-up and clean-up.

We're thrilled to have Rabbi Ken from Oahu lead us in service this Friday. Please join us as we think about "Going to Our Happy Place." in celebration of Purim.

As part of a special Purim project, we are looking for clean empty water bottles. If you have a few to spare before taking them to the recycle center, please drop them off at the synagogue before Shabbat.

Talmud Torah (our religious school) has started!

Children learn Hebrew, study Jewish history and holidays, learn songs and prayers, sing, dance, do creative crafts, and have a grand time with their Jewish friends. Some highlights of previous years are clay menorah making, planting a garden, presenting several wonderful Purim plays, and Israeli dancing.

Talmud Torah will meet on Sunday mornings from 10:30-12pm.
Spring session begins Sunday, January 14th
Children ages 5-12 may enroll.
